Distero: Prologue

Distero, a place with great wonders and mysteries surrounding it. In the ancient times, Distero was a dangerous place with monsters, gods, demons and powers unknown to man. Many people died trying to survive in this place, until a man known as the righteous one discovered the power of the Geist. The Geist is the power to transform your soul into a weapon. With this power the people could fight the destruction surrounding them and started to make civilizations. The people who knew how to wield this power lead the others and build their own kingdoms in Distero, eight to be exact. In that time not so many people could wield this power, but now almost anyone could use it.The kingdoms prospered and now they could control their problems. Now with the founding of a ninth kingdom, some kingdoms are opposed to this idea and see it as an disorder to Distero. Believe it or not Distero is still a dangerous place with wars, monsters still lurking and kingdoms that are losing their way. There's a prophecy that tells of a coming of an evil that will destroy everything in Distero… the question is when.
